Avalanche Bars are really yummy and really easy to make. They are sweet, nutty, chocolaty and marshy bars, seriously addictive and deliciously bad for you. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon.
To make a batch of these lovelies you will need:
- 100g Dark Chocolate
- 300g White Chocolate
- 300g of Rice Krispies
- 1.5 tbsp Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 150g Mini Marshmallows
Line a 9x9inch tray with cling film, make sure you leave spare around the edges so that you can cover the mix and press it down. Melt the white chocolate, and stir in the peanut butter, chop the dark chocolate, or use chocolate chips. Allow the white chocolate mix to cool, stir it into the rice krispies along with the chopped chocolate and the mini marshmellows. Pour into the tray, cover with the cling film and press it down well. Chill for at least 2 hours until the chocolate has set, enough time to play around a logo.
